Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why should I choose a Google Verified business?

Choosing a Google Verified business gives you added peace of mind knowing the company has been vetted by Google. This includes verification of licensing, insurance, and background checks where applicable. Google Verified businesses may also be backed by a Google satisfaction guarantee for eligible services, offering extra protection if something doesn’t go as planned. The verification badge helps customers quickly identify trusted professionals, reducing risk and ensuring a safer, more reliable service experience.

How are you different from large companies?

Large companies often operate with call centers, sales teams, and multiple layers of management.

This increases overhead costs and reduces consistency on-site.

With TB Plumbing & Heating:

You work directly with the licensed owner

No subcontractors

No sales commissions

No corporate overhead

Full quality control on every project

You pay for workmanship — not management fees.

How are you different from low-cost contractors?

Some low-cost providers focus mainly on price and volume.

This may result in shortcuts, limited documentation, or weak after-service support.

With us:

City permits and inspections included

Red Seal Plumber–signed replacement certificate

High-quality materials

Written warranty

Long-term accountability

Lower price is not always lower cost.

Why is your price sometimes higher?

Our pricing reflects:

 Licensed & insured professional work

Permit and inspection compliance

Owner-performed installation

Certified documentation

Warranty protection

Long-term reliability

This protects your home value, insurance coverage, and resale potential.

Who will actually do the work in my home?

With us:

The licensed owner personally completes and supervises every project.

No rotating crews.

No random technicians.

No subcontractors.

You always know who is responsible.

Do you provide official documentation?

Yes.

Every Poly-B project includes:

 City inspection

 Permit records

Red Seal Plumber signed certificate

These documents are valuable for:

Insurance

Real estate transactions

Future renovations

Peace of mind

Which option is best for most homeowners?

Most clients choose:

Package 2 (Basic Patch) or Package 3 (Turn-Key)

Because they offer:

 Better long-term value

 Cleaner finish

 Less follow-up work

 Stronger resale protection

What materials do you use and why you use them?

For our Poly-B repairs, we use Canadian-made PureLink PEX-A and German-brand Rahau Raupex PEX-A piping paired with high-quality lead-free brass fittings approved for potable water systems.

We choose PEX-A because it is more flexible, durable, and resistant to cracking compared to Poly-B, and it creates stronger, more secure connections using a PEX Crimp System or expansion fitting system.

It also offers better freeze resistance and long-term reliability. Our lead-free brass fittings meet current plumbing code requirements and are safe for drinking water, ensuring every repair is built to modern standards for safety and durability.
